Some birds are caught in the wild and later sold to pet stores. These birds are not gentle or tame and many pet stores now turn away from purchasing these undomesticated birds.

Some people may prefer to buy from pets hop while some other people may prefer to buy from the breeder. Both of the source will have their own advantage and disadvantage. However, the important issue that prospective buyer should remember is that they should buy only healthy birds, which normally most of the breeder can provide.
